That’s a lot of money for something no-one knows much about

Harvard Business School Press has just shelled out $250,000 for IT (also here). But what exactly is IT? That’s the fun part about all of this…no one knows!

Let me rephrase that: IT is an invention that is expected to be revealed in 2002, but very few people know what IT, code name "Ginger" actualy does. But those who have seen IT, such as Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Apple CEO Steve Jobs have been dazzled by it.

The only hint as to what IT will is a statement from the inventor, Dean Kamen. He says it will be an alternative to products that "are dirty, expensive, sometimes dangerous and often frustrating, especially for people in the cities." The mind boggels.
