And to think I went about it the hard way
Saturday, March 31st, 2001The annual fake fighting celebration
Friday, March 30th, 2001I am eagerly looking forward to Sunday night, because it’s time once again to vege in front of a television with a bunch of my friends and watch grown men toss each other through tables and bash each other with steel chairs. That’s right, it’s WrestleMania X-Seven (which is their stylish way of saying 17). Four hours of the testosterone driven soap opera that is the WWF. I’m a happy geek! ^_^
Tweaks in the meantime
Friday, March 30th, 2001I finally got off my ass and fixed the fonts on the site. I had planned on having the replacement in place by now, but I’m still playing with the design of everything past the home page. Maybe this is a sign that I should participate in the great May 1st Reboot. Hmmm….
An explosion of feathers
Friday, March 30th, 2001I finally got to see the video clip of Randy Johnson’s "killer" fastball. What are the chances that a bird chose to fly to that point in space at the same time Mr. Johnson was throwing that 90+ mph heater? It’s got to be astronomical. If your morbid curiosity get the better of you, the gruesome explosion of feathers is available on demand over at ESPN.com.
Making the choice that much harder
Friday, March 30th, 2001Today at the Tokyo Game Show, it was announced that Sega has partnered with Microsoft and will be delivering no less than 11 games for the X-Box launch this fall, with "Jet Grind Radio Future" and "Panzer Dragoon" as two of those titles.
This news doesn’t help me in my quest to choose which next-generation machine I will lust after this fall (or Christmas…whatever). The X-Box is shaping up to be one sweet machine, but I can’t overlook the fact that Squaresoft is still only developing for the PS2. That’s the last true sticking point in my decision of who’s getting my $300 for a new game system.
