Rain rain, go away

This afternoon I took in my first ever minor league baseball game as the Lakewood BlueClaws lost 2-1 to the Asheville Tourists. All in all it was a fun time, even if I did spend the first three innings sitting in a rainstorm. Hey, a little water never hurt nobody! ^_^

One observation: While ticket prices for a minor league ball game are much better than major league prices ($8 compared to $30+), I’m sorry to say that prices at the consession stands are just as inflated as their big city counterparts.

As promised, here is the first of my sketches, all colored and ready to share with the world at large. Not too shaby, considering I only started drawing again six days ago, and it stands to reason that future works will only get better, right? Thanks to my man Nick for the scaning job.
