See you Space Cowboy

Thursday, August 30th, 2001

Cartoon Network is now my official favorite channel of all time, if for no other reason then they are going to broadcast Cowboy Bebop during their new Adult Swim block of shows which is being geared twoards adults (well duh!).

Spaceships, bounty hunting, and some of the best animation I’ve ever seen. I just hope they don’t trim anything from it to get it by censors.

Fed up

Tuesday, August 28th, 2001

How many times can you be stood up before you’ve had enough? More times than I care to count. I give people a great deal of leway, with second upon third on top of fourth chances and so on. And for all my kindness and generosity, I wind up being shit on. Intentional or not, it makes me that much more cynical, and it makes it that much harder to trust others for fear of being hurt again.

Well no more. I’ve had it up to here with the bullshit. I guess you have to be an asshole to get any kind of respect from most people — a sad fact of life if ever I’ve heard one.

Dead people love Microsoft

Saturday, August 25th, 2001

A heatwarming grass roots campaign to get the Utah Attorney General’s office to take it easy on Microsoft for their monopolistic practices even has the dead writing in to support the cause. I think the dead have more to worry about than Microsoft’s legal woes (like the fact that they’re living impared).

How stupid are the people up in Redmond to keep pulling stunts like this while the they’re under the microscope? Someone need to slap these jackasses around a bit.

Toking and bashing

Saturday, August 25th, 2001

Months of waiting for "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back", and the movie lived up to all expectations. I great way for Kevin Smith to end his "Jersey Trilogy", which is actually five movies strong. But hey, who’s counting?

Tonight’s agenda consitis of watching two friends beat the living hell out of each other in the middle of Jackson with a crowd cheering them on. No, it’s not some kind of sadistic ritual (of course that depends on your point of view) — it’s EWA Wrestling. Tonight Tony and Tony (no relation) will be participating in thier first and second career matches respectively. Considering this is their dream they’re following, how could I afford to miss it. Besides, someone has to take pictures of the debacle for posterity. ^_^

Anonymous praise

Its nice to find out total strangers like your "design feel". It’s even better when they say so on their site, which has many more visitors than yours.

Just the topper on a pretty good day. ^_^
