It was the wierdest feeling looking down from six stories above the hustle and bustle on the streets of Houston and Broadway, and then out over the horizion to Brooklyn and the bridge that shares it’s name in the distance of the New york night. For this night, life returned to the broken down shell of a broken down dot-com in the Pseudo Lounge — the rave was all I hoped for and then some.
And the best part about it was the way everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) on the little trip went according to plan, including my duties as a quasi tour guide around Manhattan before reaching our evening’s destination. About the only snag we hit on the whole event was having to wait an hour longer than expected in Penn Station for the train home, but even that turned out for the best, because it gave me time to flip through some photos and reflect on other special times with my friends.
Thanks to Dennis, Nichole, and Marc for a great night and some fond memories shared. We must do this again sometime soon! ^_^
