Gracing my earphones today is Spawn: The Album. I’m always interested in these type of "experimental" albums. This time it’s metal mixed with electronica, and for the most part it’s a good thing. Favs on this one include "One Man Army" (Prodigy & Tom Morello), "Torn Apart" (Stabbing Westward & Wink), and of course "(Can’t You) Trip Like I Do" (Filter & The Crystal Method). I’m also quite partial to the tracks featuring Soul Coughing and Henry Rollins, but could have done without the remix of "For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica. Can’t have it all, I guess.
