I’m in New York at the moment, wasting time before my first Lake Trout show (along with Cancer Conspiracy and Kill Me Tomorrow at the Knitting Factory). I kind of feel the same way i did before my first Dream Theater show, but at this one I expect the crowd to be a bit more lively.
Take Trout has that whole jazz fusion / jam band style thing going for them, which lends to body movement and things of that order. Dream Theater music is more of a head trip, so with the exception of head nodding and toe tapping, movement is a commodity at those shows.
Or something like that. Catch you sometime tomorrow kiddies! ^_^
