Pay your bills, kiddies!

Some of those who know me know that I’ve been a knucklehead as of late when it comes to dealing with things like the law and the DMV. So bad in fact that for a little over a month and a half I was without my driver’s license and stuck taking cabs everywhere. Last Tuesday that was all resolved, but it was an expensive and frustrating lesson to learn, especially considering how much I love driving.

But then last night I had to learn yet another lesson; that if you don’t pay your car loan people will come and take the car away. Never a good thing, I know. Stupid, yes. At least I have the money now to get the car back from the repo men.

I guess when I figured I was going to lose my license for multiple years, the thought of paying for a car I wouldn’t be driving wasn’t all that appetizing. The funny thing is I had been planning to cut them a check today. Just another example of why you shouldn’t put things off. At least I have enough money on hand to take care of all of this.

Want to show someone what not to do? Come ask me for an example. I’ve got dozens of them! ^^;;
