Black and white bang-up

In one of the greatest cares of irony I’ve seen in a long time, my friend Kelly’s car was broadsided by a police car which ran a red light when the cop took his eyes off the road to put his cup of coffee into a cup holder. Nope, no life or death emergency here. No sirens and lights. Just bad driving by one of Point Boro’s finest.

Bad cop! No donut! ^_^

actually, the coffee thing is bullshit, he needed some sort of excuse why he went through the light. He didn’t try to stop until after he passed the light, even the witnesses verified that. TOOL!

I should get one of those Tshirts…

Figures they’d try to save face and cover their asses. What ever happened to accountability in the world? ^_^

CYA… I use it all the time

  4. Joanna says:

    FUCK point cops…

the assholes gave me my first ticket on river road on the first time that i was ever pulled over. Wham four points on my license and a huge fine. brick and point cops bite the big one.

    Middletown cops are worse….

I hereby nominate Wall Township “troopers” as the worst to deal with. I have yet to find one who doesn’t fit the crew-cut, no neck mold they seem to press them out of, and they have the State Trooper style hats to show just how tough they are.

And why is it that hat on a cop or State Trooper is intimidating, but throw it on mall security or a park ranger and they become even more laughable than before? Just a thought….

Hey Joanna, I thought you might like to know the cop who gave you your ticket was the very same who was involved in said accident. Aside from that, I remember the ticket you got. You were going 40 in a 25. Ya kind of had to expect that one!!

  8. Jon says:

they are just doing their job

I’m all for the men in blue, and I understand that they serve a great purpose in this world, but there are a few that seem to take a sick kind of pleasure in making people’s lives hell.

And I think all my legal run-ins over the past few months qualify me as an expert in this. ^_^

Personally, I treat the officer with the upmost respect, even when they’re slapping handcuffs on my wrists. The more respectful you are to them, the more respectful they are to you in return.

    OK, enough of my preaching.

  10. kelly says:

I’m respectful…until they think they are above the law– and when they abuse their power.

    Then, I say, fuck em.!

  11. aj says:

I agree. I respect that we need them but fuck them all in the same breath.

When I sit there and get pulled over and my car searched with 2 kids in the car because I look suspectious(sp?) (in a pair pants and a sweater – yeah I look just like a criminal) and they search my car, or get pulled over for a crooked license plate or get a TICKET for one light being out on my license plate, they can all rot in hell.

All you guys who are so busy M-Fing anyone who has ever worn a badge, I would like to ask you two questions. I am sure you have al had bad service at a resteraunt, do you still go out to eat or do you walk around cursing wait staffs every where? On a more serious note have we all forgotten just what the police do for us? Have we forgotten Sept. 11? I am ashamed to have to point this out. You should be ashamed that I had to point it out to you.

  13. aj says:

Yeah but if you have bad service in a restaurant you can walk out and never go there again. Like I said I respect the need for them and what they do for us (because I know I could NEVER do their job), but a lot of them are bored, power hungry people.

  14. Don says:

Ok, you could never visit the offending town again. I guess I am asking a bit much. Nevermind.

  15. kelly says:

In the same vein, just because there are good cops out there, doesn’t mean that they’re all good and worthy of the respect just because they have a badge and carry a gun…

I hate when people use Sept. 11 as a reason why we can’t criticize anything…the president, the government, the police force, etc. If I don’t like “most” cops, does that mean the terrorists have won? ;)

I try to differentiate between what is right and what is merely legal.

  16. Don says:

Ok, maybe alcohol has finaly taken it’s toll on my brain. I have no idea why you not liking “most” cops has to do with the terrorists. I am not saying you should not criticize anything. I am mearly saying I think you were a little to zealous in your cop bashing. Thank you and have a nice day!

  17. kelly says:

    It was called sarcasm.

  18. kelly says:

It was the “have we forgotten September 11th” comment that set me off…

  19. Andrew says:

Hopefully everyone has this out of their system? Can we all play nice now like good little boys and girls? ^_^
