Good, bad and ugly vs. blogging
- The Good: Blogging made the NY Times today.
- The Bad: It outlined a rift between the old school blogger and the post 9/11 "war bloggers".
- The Ugly: The picture of Jason Kottke with his webcam eye.

it’s really great that you give us links, but they don’t work to well when YOU HAVE TO HAVE A MEMBERSHIP TO VIEW EM! maybe you should have some consideration for your faithful readers. jeesh.
Maybe I should have made it clear — sorry. In the future if you need an account I’ll TRY to make mention of it in the post.
Then again, I don’t see what the big deal is about signing up for a FREE account with the New York Times web site. It’s not like they’re a fly by night operation who’s going to sell your info to the highest bidder. They’re one of the more reputable sources of news in the world…who may eventually sell your name to the highest bidder. ^_^
Hell, you want to play you have to pay, so to speak. In my experience though, the Times plays by the rules. It’s worth the 2 minutes of your life to get an account.
