Looking for some closure

I’m sure at one point or another in all of our lives we have that one friend we happen to find but lose along the path from childhood through adolecense to adulthood. Some find them many yeaars down the road, but most never do, either for lack of trying or lack of caring because they’ve grown so far apart as individuals.

I have one such friend still floating out there, and every once in a while my thoughts float back to the hell of my middle school days and how he helped me through so many of them. When he moved from Point Pleasant to Pennsylvania we kept in touch, but along the path of life the line got disconnected. I’ve been regreting that ever since, but I don’t resign myself to the fact that it can’t be patched back together. Every few months I scour the internet trying to find him again, armed only with a name, an age, and the last place I knew he called home.

This afternoon brought about another one of those searches, but it also brought my best lead to reconnecting with him in years. Now all I can do is hope, pray and watch my inbox. The we that is me is wondering what you’ve been up to all these years, Mr. Bill Post. Has Stroudsburgh been good to you?

Update: My search is over. My world is whole once again. ^_^
