Gaming freaks and just plain freaks use Apple ^_^

There have been a good many parodies of the Apple Switch ads that have been making the rounds, and while this one is good for a laugh by those who live and breathe PC games, this one is just so disturbing it’s funny.

(Hat tip to AJ for the gamer link).

Former House member James Traficant (you remember, the one who got kicked out for taking bribes and kickbacks) was sentenced to eight years in jail. But the crazy crook says he expects to win re-election from his prison cell:

“All of Ohio and America knows I’ve been railroaded,” Mr. Traficant told dozens of reporters as he arrived on the courthouse steps.

Um, yeah…right. Me thinks James is suffering from some serious mental deliusions. Hey, at least he’s got a positive outlook on life, even though his is going through the shitter at the moment.

President Bush signed corperate fraud legislation into law. the same legislation he opposed just weeks earlier. Why does this all feel so wrong to me? Maybe it’s because the fox is watching the henhouse, or because the bill was probably green-lighted through to get the public off of the politicians’ backs and probably doesn’t have the teeth it needs to make a true dent in the corperate landscape.

Or maybe it’s jsut because I’m a cynical bastard. Take your pick. ^_^

Care for another kick while you’re down there?

The way the Amtrak situation has been playing out over the past few months, and the last few days especially, reminds me a lot of the way Taggart Transcontinental ground down in Atlas Shrugged. First it’s cash, then it’s an accident, and now Amtrak is being forced to cut runs out of the schedule without a drop in costs. I fear this may be the last shot for Amtrak, though I hope I’m wrong.

From the makers of FuckedCompany comes InternealMemos.com; a site chocked full of corperate anti-culture for you to digest. Who needs soap operas or reality TV when we’ve got shit like this online? ^_^
