And I say “good ridance”

Jean-Marie Messier’s, the head of Vivendi Universal, has resigned from the post. His plans to turn the one time French water utility company (yes, you read that right) into a media giant will surely die in the hands of whoever suceeds him with all the talks of restructuring and debt repayment. One less media conglomerate in the world I suppose.

And unless the scraps are snapped up by a larger media conglomerate, that’s not really a bad thing.
