Strike talks and weblogs abound

Looks as though Salon is jumping on the blog band waggon. I like the extra exposure for blogs and the infusion of new writers this will bring into the fold. I’m hoping for a good outcome, but are people going to pay $39.95 for something they can get for free? Time will tell.

Staying on the topic of Salon for a few more seconds, I went to their home page and saw a link for a Keith Olbermann article. Seems as though he’s their newest columnist. And I had been wondering to myself where he off and disapeared to. “Los Angles to do radio for ABC” would also be an acceptable answer. ^_^

Interesting little article on the economics of spam and the fight against it. I would suggest the benalty of public beatings and riding said person out of town on a rail, but I fear that it still doesn’t go far enough. ^_^

San Fran is going to have a ballot measure up for vote that if passed would allow the city to explore growing marijuana on public property as a way around the DEA’s continual closing of medical marijuana clubs.
