This November, Nevada voters will be able to make marijuana legal. The breakdown: penalties for possession of up to three ounces of marijuana for any reason would be legal and the Legislature would treat and tax it like tobacco and alcohol:
“This allows law enforcement to go after people who truly act irresponsibly,” he said. “People who smoke marijuana are otherwise law-abiding citizens who shouldn’t be arrested. They are not endangering society”
