NJ Transit has been in the process of upgrading the engines and cars in it’s fleet, and this morning I was spoiled by the opportunity to ride in one. Nice comfy seat, large windows, ultra clean…and you just can’t beat that new train smell. At least until I found that someone behind me spilled their coffee under the seat behind me and the run-off soaked part of my commuter bag. So much for new train smell.
