Apple helps my feng shui and other rainy night nonsense

The title may seem a little strange, but I’ll be damned if it isn’t the truth. Ever since I got my hands on that G4 tower and rearranged my desk to accommodate it, it seems like dozens of other little nick-knacks and objects have now fallen into proper cosmic alignment. With that one addition I now have gained back precious square footage from clutter. This is all the better, because before I was going slightly mad trying to figure out how to rearrange things.

Between my possessions and the floor plan of my apartment, there are very little arrangement options that would work. My constantly breaking bike is the only little snag remaining to be taken care of, and I’m thinking that an investment in a folding bike is coming as soon as I get my next paycheck. It can’t be any worse than the piece of crap I use now, and if it does break down, it’ll be a lot easier to haul back home. My first ride of the season was probably the last on the ol’ Mongoose Wal-Mart special. I’m just glad I decided to head along the Jersey City waterfront so when it did break down I could at least take the light rail back home instead of having the walk the whole way.

As for the rain alluded to in the title, it was actually quite nice after being crammed shoulder to shoulder with all those other jamming Brothers Past fans at their Rocks Off cruise show. This is probably the last show I’ll get to see before heading down to Tennessee for the ‘roo.

The rest of the weekend is pretty packed, so expect to see some more reading material appear soon-ish.
