The wild wind

Well, the warm snap was nice while it lasted.   The wind whipped down the palisades like a freight-train outside my window, hauling car after car of savage, pre-historic monsters in the midst of a ravenous hunger.   The gnashing of teeth and scraping of claws drowned out only be the howling and screaming of the beasts in transit.

This morning’s feature:   Return of the winter coat.   Hopefully it’s just a limited engagement.

I think we need one last snow storm to end the season. I was disappointed with the overall winter season. I love the snow and cold, this winter had neither. What the Hell?

  2. Maybe you should move the family a bit further north then if you want more snow. Not a lot of big storms save that one blizzard, but it’s snowed up here with more regularity than I was ever used to on the shore.

Or take them to Canada. There you got snow and pond hockey. I’m sure the wife and daughter would love that. ^_^
