Bottlenecks and breakthroughs

So how does one go about breaking through one of these writer’s blocks? Hell, this site used to define my existence. Now I tend to treat it like a forgotten friend. Bad move, ol’ chap. I should be writing more. Drawing more. Complaining more. Just more.

I’m swearing off freelance work for the near future — at least until the end of summer, if not longer. Office work is more than enough to keep my head swimming, and I don’t want to feel guilty if I decide to just go home and veg out after a long day. That might just open up a window of free time I need to redo my own web sites and drag them into 2006. I mean, you really have no idea just how out of date my portfolio is. Not that I’m planning on going anywhere soon, but I do want the online representation of my professional life to be current.

Let’s see how much can get done before mid June and my 4th trip to Bonnaroo — with posse in tow, this time. Any bets that nothing changes here between now and June 16th?

  1. Jon says:

I’ll lay down $10 that says you don’t. But then, you might just post to get my 10 bucks. Either way, you win. So I guess I just recant my bet. In other news, I finally defended my thesis and should graduate this August!

  2. I wonder if they will be showing the World Cup at Bonnaroo…..hmmm….

my bet is nothing changes between now and then :) lol…
