Three Things I Learned Today

Okay, let’s see if a little add structure helps posting frequency around here. Today starts a new ongoing series. Let’s see what the internets has brought my brain today:

  1. I’ll be getting my copy of Mac OS X Leopard after work on October 26th. The rumored release date was indeed true. So I’ve got a little over 9 days of waiting left. Until then, I’ll be drooling over the 300-plus features list.
  2. At least in Midtown Manhattan, the DOT is going to be putting down directional compass decals on sidewalks at subway exits. They’ll tell you what street you’re on and what streets surround you in a one block direction. Brilliant idea, I have to admit.
  3. Larry the Cable Guy and David Cross are having some kind of fued in the press. I gotta say, Cross kills with this reply, and I’m on his side on pretty much all of his foul-mouthed points.
