Three Things for Today: Oct. 21, 2007

Less net time today because I was watching the Giants beat up on the 49ers while visiting my dad.  But as my old science teacher used to say: “You have to learn at least on thing a day”.  Consider my daily quota trippled:

  1. Steven Colbert was on Meet the Press this morning, and it was by far the most light-hearted and good humored thing I’ve ever seen on the program in my short time of being a regular viewer.
  2. I think it’s amazing that while it’s been out of a few years now, and it’s successor is less than a week from being released, people are still finding little undocumented tricks in OS X 10.4 Tiger.  Here’s one for aligning only selected icons in Finder’s folders.
  3. TorrentFreak has an interesting interview with a 9-year old filesharer.  I come to find out through this article that “LimeWire comes with the internet but you have to pay for that so LimeWire isn’t really free”.
