Lying, new features, and laugh out loud stupidity for your consumption:
- Comcast has finally made an official statement regarding their tampering with P2P network traffic. Instead of a fell mea culpa, they would only admit to “delaying” some subscriber internet traffic, claiming the effects were “temporary and intended to improve surfing for other users”. Well, the comments say otherwise. Bad form, Comcast!
- Google has added IMAP support to Gmail (also here and here), which means I might now actually considering using it for day-to-day communications. Sorry, web mail is great and all, but I loves me a real email program with offline composing options.
- Just a reminder to those who would think of robbing a convenience store: a fake gun loses to a real axe, every time.
